The NCCU Computer Center plays a central role in fostering a vibrant IT environment on campus. It offers a dynamic computing environment and a high-speed networking infrastructure to support the University's community. The center seamlessly integrates IT to enhance the effectiveness of teaching, learning, research, entrepreneurship, and service for our customers. Among the variety of services, the following are the most frequently used or the most important ones to you.

Wireless Service
All NCCU students can access the campus WiFi network. Your login password is the same as that for your campus email account.

Dorm Net
The Computer center provide one Ethernet RJ-45 port and one TCP/IPv4 IP address for each student who lives in the dormitory. All student dormitories have been upgraded with new networking equipment to ensure the authentication of computers by matching IP with registered MAC address. A correct MAC address of your computer is required for the registration. Unregistered computers will be denied access to the Internet.

Campus-Authorized Software
In respecting intellectual property rights, the University provides a budget for the Computer Center to procure computer software used widely on campus to serve university faculty, staff and students.

PC Classrooms
Located on the third and fourth floor of the NCCU Computer Center, the PC Classrooms are equipped with equipment’s such as
desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and copy machines. The classrooms might provide a quick fix for your last-minute submission of class
assignments.
