Purpose of Subsidy
To encourage teachers to broaden NCCU student horizons through short-term courses conducted overseas.
Application Period
Once each semester:
Application Restrictions
Subsidies are limited to a single course per department (or college) each year. Applicants must obtain departmental approval.
Once departmental approval is obtained, applying faculty must attend an orientation session held by the Office of International Cooperation (OIC).
(Subsidy amounts are calculated based on the number of students, attending course length, and airfare requirements)
Subsidies may also be applied to semester-long courses, providing a basic subsidy along with 50% of airfare.
Eligibility
Academic courses conducted overseas last a minimum of 7 days or more (excluding China, Hong Kong, and Macau).
Undergraduate and graduate courses must respectively enroll at least 10 and 6 NCCU students.
