Notice for Stage-1 Admission of the 2022 New International Students Scholarship Recipients

  • This scholarship is awarding the following amounts to each academic level: 

        Undergraduate: NT$ 60,000

        Master's: NT$ 80,000

        Doctoral: NT$ 100,000

  • Please read the “NCCU Stage-1 Admission 2022 Notice for International Students” thoroughly and follow the instruction to complete the verification of your educational documents and the registration. To accept our offer of admission, please upload the required documents to the Online Application System by 5 pm, December 10, 2021 (Fri) (Taiwan Time). Those who fail to upload the required documents by the prescribed deadline will forfeit their candidacy for scholarship.
  • Scholarship recipients who enroll in 2022 Spring Semester MUST provide the required documents to the Office of International Cooperation (hereafter, “OIC”) by Friday, February 25, 2022.
  1. A photocopy of valid ARC. 
  2. A receipt of NCCU tuition bill for the Spring Semester 2022. The tuition bill will not be available for download from the NCCU website until early February. The payment deadline is around mid-February. As there is still uncertainty with the development of COVID-19 pandemic, the OIC will inform all international students regarding registration details via email at a later date.
  3. A photocopy of your personal passbook of First Commercial Bank or Taiwan Post. 
  • Scholarship recipients will receive the scholarship award in two equal installments in March and May, directly deposited into the accounts from First Commercial Bank or Taiwan Post.
  • Scholarship recipients who enroll in 2022 Fall Semester MUST provide the required documents to OIC by Friday, September 30, 2022.
  • Required documents
  1. A photocopy of valid ARC. 
  2. A receipt of NCCU tuition bill for the Fall Semester 2022.
  • The tuition bill will not be available for download from the NCCU website until early September. The payment deadline is around mid-September.   1. A photocopy of your personal passbook of First Commercial Bank or Taiwan Post. 
  • Scholarship recipients will receive the scholarship award in two equal installments in October and December, directly deposited into the accounts from First Commercial Bank or Taiwan Post.
  • Please note that this scholarship will be cancelled if the recipients are awarded with the following awards/scholarships or being in the following status:
  1. Taiwan Scholarship 
  2. Full scholarship offered by other government institutions 
  3. NCCU New International Student Tuition Waiver
  4. Being suspended, deferred, transferred, or expelled from NCCU 
  5. Taking fewer than 6 semester credits in Spring or Fall Semester 2022
