What You Can Study
NCCU offers over 500 English taught courses, as well as a number of English taught International Programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. Courses are offered on a semester basis. Our Fall semester is from September to January and our Spring semester is from February to June.

Chinese Language Center
Mandarin classes offered by the Chinese Language Center are fee-paying programs. Unless otherwise stated on the agreement, exchange students will have to pay tuition fees for these classes. Degree-seeking students may apply for the Mandarin Scholarship that allows the student to take courses free of charge.

Our application period for admission in the academic year 2012 is from January 10, 2012 to March 30, 2012.

- Two completed application forms attached with a recent photo sized about 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm
- Address label
- Declaration
- Verification of nationality (A photocopy of your passport)
- One photocopy of the diploma of the highest academic degree
- One original official transcript
* The photocopies of their diploma and transcripts verified by the Taiwan Overseas Representative Office (with official stamp/seal) in the country of the original school are required for enrollment.
- An official certificate issued within 3 months from a financial institute indicating that sufficient funds are available to support the applicant during his/her studies in Taiwan.
- Additional application materials required by the department or the graduate institute
